Default will 18x8.5 with 35 offset with the TC? with TRD 1.5" d

so i'm looking at some Konig Imagines, and i can get them for a pretty decent price. just wondering if it'll fit.

i currently have 18x7.5 with 42 offset, and the wheels are kinda sunken in to the fenders. i wanna push them out a bit, and looking at these Konigs. The sizes are 18x8.5 with 35 offset. i'm going to run my same tires which are 225/40/18. will these fit? no rubbing?

here's a comparison chart.

and these are the wheels:

I know 18x8 with a 35 offset works but 18x8.5 with 35 offset might rub a bit

Its not really streched is it? His tire chart has the max rim width at 216mm and he's getting 225's. Its not as bad as some of those guys running 215s on an 8.5" or 9" wheel. According to the tire chart it seems it will line up fine. I say go for it. Plus your drop is TRD, you'll be fine. Sick rims by the way!

225/40 on a 8.5" wide wheel will stretch out the tire. as long as the sidewall on the tire looks 'rounded' its by my definition, stretched out. sidewall should be totally flat and perpendicular to the tread for it to be the right size.

Is that a special wheel program? or did you get that off a website somewhere?

I'm pretty sure you'll rub with anything wider than a 225 on an 8.5" wide wheel with a +35 offset. You really need +45 or larger for that width if you want to run a 235 or 245.
