I kinda sorta already do. a couple parents of my friends pay me to upkeep their vehicles. Basically I maintain about 7 vehicles weekly. 40 bucks a pop times 7 cars... 280 extra dollars a week. woot!

 Good job being industrious. What product do you recommend for a monthly UV treatment on the xA dash?

All I do is wash the car and clean the wheels/tires. and dry, but that's a given. that seems pretty reasonable for an hour to an hour and a half of work.
Once a month each of them will give me 90 to rewax, dress the tires, vacuum the inside, and wipe down and protect the vinyl/plastic/etc.

303 aerospace protectant. Use some meg's quick interior detailer to make sure everything is off the dash, and then apply the 303 to the dash. Let it sit there for a few minutes and then take a dry microfiber towel and buff it. What's left is a semi-glossy surface that has 100% UV protection. it's not glossy enough to be a problem when driving, so don't be concerned about that.

Seems like you have got alot of experience what kind of wax do u use?

Neothin
01-27-2006, 07:34 PM
most of the time I run with clearkote's red moose machine glaze topped with poorboy's natty's blue wax. To really make the car bling, for like shows and stuff (a la scion exposed last weekend) I put clearkote's vanilla moose, then red moose machine glaze, then natty's blue, and then souveran on top of that. The paint just becomes a shimmering sea of flakes.

most of the looks that I get come from polishing the paint. Taking an abrasive polish will burnish the clear coat down and in the process remove swirling, waterspot etchings, etc. What's left after polishing is a perfectly smooth surface. This is what gives the best results.
You can use just the wax though. At the very least, make sure you clay the car.
