3 of the 7 xBs in our town are Hot Lavas!
I thought that the hot lava was supposed to be the rare xB. But it's the most popular one in my town! How many does everyone have in their town that they know of?

There's been somewhat of a joke floating around Nor*Cal as we always seem to have at least three Hot Lavas at our meets/events.
"Is it supposed to be 2,100 Hot Lavas nationwide or per state?"

we gotta meet up sometime...
hot lavas are rare. but thing about it. what kind of person would buy a hot lava xB? an enthusiast. someone who shows up to meets and stuff. so that's why you see so many when you go to scion meets and shows.
it's one thing to see 900 of them at a car show (meet, event), but to have three in your town when the cars are so new (less than a year out)...
after a while, when the lavas are all sold, the ratio will swing back to normal. people will stop rushing out for a rs1 for it's limited status, but will be getting a xB because it's a good car.

I saw about 30 of them last week when I was on my way to New York. Well, actually those 30 were at the Neward port...haha...I've sold 3 in town, and 2 to out of towners.
Considering that the HL pretty much coincided with the east and southeast launch, I wonder if most of them went to those regions? If a dealer is selling 3 or 4 HL cars and 10 cars of the other colors, then the HL cars will tend to stand out.
Here in CA, there were already a lot of other colors out there, so HL's don't seem to be so common.

Yeah, Car Toys had 4 at one time on their parking lot. At the very same time I only had one xB instock in any color. :D I told them they should open their own dealership!
As far as owned vehicles. I have seen 4 Hot Lavs,2 Black Pearl, 1 Camo, 2 Polar Whites, 1 Thunder Cloud, and 2 Black Cherry (includes mine). Thats just driving around, I know more have been sold though in my area.
