Here is a funny quote from an 06 Si forum that a buddy of mine sent to me

"the scion. please don't ever mention it again. it's ugly (i'm assuming you're looking at the tC). it starts out cheaper, but that's only b/c toyotas are stripped to the bare bones for the base price. to outfit a tC to perform well, you need to tack on at least 3000 for the supercharger, as well as a couple of grand more for safety features that are standard on the civic. then you basically end up w/ an overpriced and underperforming wannabe Si. there's been 1 or 2 magazine comparisons of the 2 that show everything i've said. i can't recall which mag, but i'm sure if you look at barnes you'll find it. "

Si wannabe?

Funny how he says this, dispite the fact that the tC came out way before the redesigned SI, not to mention, the SI was purposely redesigned to take back the market that the tC had stolen from the slow arse civic coupe. They needed to compete with the tC with the knowledge that scion would eventually release a supercharger. So when you look at it, the success of the tC is responsible for the new SI.

That's not surprising considering all the Si hate on here.

a tC is stripped bare?? news to me, i thought it came pretty loaded with standards. Saftey features? abs, srs + knee, ebd, low press warning arent enough???

I'll try not to take any advice from the people that drive the definitions of rice as we know it.

OK... if you guys want to start crap with one site or another... fine. Just don't bring it here. Let them hate us all they want. We don't need to be just as bad over here.
