Default What brand of car alarm does Scion sell and install?

Does Scion recommend a certain alarm for their cars? The one installed on our
xb is made by a company called KARR Security Systems. It seemed to work
flawlessly until the other night when it decided to go off all by itself. This was at
3.00am. At first I thought I had forgot to close the garage door and some scum
was trying to steal the car. Not so -- garage door was closed and locked. It has
now done this 4 different times. Anyone else have this system model #4040a?
We've had our xb for almost two years now with no problems until now. Any ideas?

Viper or Clifford are good. Also if you are not planning on remote start, check out UNGO which is an offshoot of Clarion. All three of those are good solid alarms. If you can find a setup with a seperate motion sensor from the brain unit, you will have a much better alarm.

W/Remote Start system: DEI (http://www.directed.com/)
W/O Remote Start: UNGO (http://www.clarion.com/)
