Got my tC back today, but...
they painted my parts wrong! Waited 6 weeks after some punk ran a stop sign and smashed into my right side qtr. Went through my insurance (All State) where they suggested one of the facility at Norwalk Toyota. Finally got it back today and realized that the paint is way off... I'll post a picture soon - it's night and wont be noticlable atm.
My question is: can the dealership's collision center be able to get the paint match? Or is it hard to get the paint the proper color? I'm concern that I will have to wait even longer to drive my tC again if they can fix it.

In all reality, the collision shop should have blended the quarter panel so it wouldn't be noticeable. The only time you should really be able to tell is if you have a bumper painted because of the difference between painted metal and plastic. You should barely be able to tell, if at all, if they properly blended.
^^ true... I use to have a s10 that got in many accidents... none my fault... but I took it to many top end places and couldn't tell a lick of difference in color... i'd take it back... if your insurance told you to go there i'm pretty sure that they are top quality... plus most body shops offer a life time guarantee on their labor...
I work in a body shop, in general matching a color likes Scions is a pain in the ___, mainly cuz of the flake in the paint. But like someone said above, they shoulda blended...meh...I say if its that crappy bring it back. Like someone else said above usually Body Shops offer some sort of guarantee on there paint...especially if its really bad.
take it back, and tell them to blend the paint. when i was rear ended and needed a new bumper, they warned me the paint wasnt EXACTLY the same color, but they were going to do their best to blend the paint. When i got the car back i couldn't tell it was a different color. So its not like its impossible to get it looking somewhat new again.
Mine was rear ended and needed a new bumper cover. The shop never mentioned any concerns and you cant tell in the least that anything ever happened. Just take it back and have them work on it again.
Thanks (a lot) to all the replies. The the color of front bumper that they replace is just a tad bit off, my rear bumper's color is totally out of scheme. The whole right side doesn't match the left side however. Conclusion, talked to a guy from Norwalk Toyota and he said he'll try to get his paint guys to match it better this time. I'm just going to spend a few days before I drop it off because i missed it so much -- and tired of crappy rent a cars.
