Okay people's here's the dealie...yo!!! Joe has given us a couple of date choices that have this event at his pad. Pls. choose from either of the 2 dates above. Brian and Mike will both post on here on exactly what items are needed for the lighting installs. This also gonna be a pool party & BBQ so it's gonna be potluck a list will be needed to list all the food items that everybody is bringing. This poll will be closed by Thursday so pick your date and let's do this....thanks everybody and big props to Mr. Joe. :) :wink:

Memorial weekend is the 29th-31st

The thing is either this saturday because people are going to Extreme Autofest and want to get stuff done or any weekend after E.A. plus people need time to order stuff crazy cheap online unless we can go directly to elwirecheap which is located in Yorba Linda.

depends what the first few posts are sayin but it would be cool to do something this saturday if you guys don't have anything planned

actually Mother's day is the 9th.

it would be nice if we could do it on the 8th for autofest, but if it is, i wont be able to hang out long since i still have work that night. also, im not sure how long it will take to order the lighting that everyone wants. we all know how online stores are... nothings ever in stock.
so sunday the 23rd is my personal choice.

i vote the 23th i'm still recovering from my move (and i got sick too, isn't that great luck?), and unless you all want to pay $75 for power at autofest, the lighting won't matter :)

I'm down either day but the 23rd might be better so everyone can get their parts together.

may 23rd is a track day.. so i might roll up there with steve and hang out there.. maybe run my car if i can..hehe!! so i pick the 8th

23rd is my vote! I think it gives everyone more time for everything. Like order parts, save money to pay for parts, and gives joe time to clean the pool . jk. :lol: But I think a SUNDAY is more of a pool party/bbq kinda day.

Alot of you guys do have a good point, maybe we should move this back to the 23rd. That'll give Brian and Mike enough time to order the differnt color lighting and wires needed for the installs. not mentions the time neede to coordinate the food and drinks neede for a good time . hhhmmm maybe even a Dj st up... :wink: and Joe don't be frogetin'n to invite those Pomona wininz...haha

that's what i'm talking about nilo - just a little time to get things set up right.

everyone that want's lighting should order their lights soon and post up what they want done, so we can get enough extra wire/solder/fuse holders etc... to accomidate everyone.

in fact i'm going to start a new thread for people to post what they've bought so we can get all the supplies we need in advance

just speaking for myself.. but i know some of you want to get some lighting in before the autofest show, so i might be able to help some of you (not all though). id still want to have the bbq at Joe's place though so why dont we try to setup something small before the show and then a real deal at Joe's place later.
FYI: the show will be during the day and the lighting won't show very much. also, electricity will be pretty expensive and i dont know anyone with an inverter.

So I guess its the 23rd then? Coolage - post a reminder nearer to the date so my punkass dont forget! :D
