since we can't get this information from the registry, i was just wonderin what is the breakdown among scionlife users who own xAs by type of transmission

I was lookin' at that. I wanted to see if so'n'so drives a stick or auto in the registry..., and no, you can't tell from that.

Well, so far of those who responded, it's 50/50.

My guess is there's more autos.

I chose an auto because I was sick to death of all the shifting in rush hour traffic. Driving has become fun again.

I chose the 5-Speed, and would do it all over again...I can deal with shifting in traffic, for some reason it doesn't bother me.... :)

I test drove both the Auto and the 5-Speed, and loved the control that the 5-Speed had over the Auto...

My girl looked and looked for her stick shift XA but they couldn't find her one with her requirements so she settled on the automatic. It still performs very well and since she isn't racing it she'll be just fine.
