they made some changes and now you need to uncheck the box in the threat to quit
getting emails now.

this is so annoying. I didnt know why it staerted. But I am so annoyed and cant deal with my profile at home. I have tried cookies I have tried it all. But I cant mess with my profile.

Ok I see that now. Thanks. But it sucks to have to remember to do it EVERY time I post. This is the type of thing that should be automatically off. Its like signing up for spam all the time.

yeah thats what they did. I think someone should do a poll and see how many actually want to have 50 emails aday from scionlife. If the majority wants it unchecked then wouldnt that be easier to satisfy the masses.

It was not there before.. it was added after they cleaned up the profile page..
So just watch your posts..

Yes, something did change. I cleaned up the profile page because many of the options just confuse most of our users. It is now the default that you will watch topics you reply to... unless you uncheck the box as you make the reply.

Uh, Darren, you may have prematurely closed this topic.

I believe some folks do not want to be notified by e-mail for ANY topic, period.

Having a one-time choice to not receive ANY notifications is what those folks wanted, not having to remember to click some little check-box for each and every post they make.

Yes, I know alot of people that don't want to get a reply. I wish they would just add that option back to our profile area and make it normal and not so cleaned up.
checking that little box each time just is annoying. AND when you go to edit your post.. make sure its unchecked again.. since it seems to recheck itself when you just try to edit it or preview it. :flame:
