Yeah, I don't like the commercial.

"Papa, why do we have a hybrid?"

Yeah Papa, why did we buy the Camry instead of the coolass Scion I wanted?? HUH!

oh don't get me wrong, I like the car, just not the commercial . . . not even that I don't like that it's not marketed to me. I just plain don't like it!

i don't know about you guys but doesn't the new camry's front view remind of you of Mazda with the emblem connected to the hood?

it's better looking than the 06 camry but i don't think it's the best looking car

I am disappointed when I see any commercial that doesn't make me laugh or gasp during the Superbowl. It seemed like a great commercial for 40-year-old moms or dads, but during the Superbowl? I think the $ could have been spent better!

That front design has been around Toyota's Euro and Asian stable for sometime before Mazda/Ford copied it. IMO I like the taillights on the new Camry than the new ES to be released this week. That commercial lacks everything.

However, times have change and there are other ways to lure people into the show rooms. Coverage on the game was rather lacking and it felt like a pre-season game instead of the Super Bowl. No point now a days to spend so much on televised marketing.

I like the fact that the boy asked his dad why he learned English, and he said for his (the boys) future. That, to me, means that all citizens, should learn English.
Not sure if that is what Toyota was going for, but that is what I got out of it.

Question about the stats....its says that is has a 2.4 liter I-4 with an output of 192 hp. is this still the 2AZ-FE just beefed up? or is it a completely new motor?

192HP refers to the combined bHP of the 2AZ-FE plus the Hybrid Synergy Drive. I think 192HP occurs at lower RPMs/speed.
