Not a huge fan of the style, to PTish for me, but for some it could work.

Looks like they mated the xB and the xA to make a ba$tard child.

I like it.. BUT considering.. the 03-05 xB is soo unique its hard to evolve on a style such as the xB's without doing anything drastic.. they can keep the new model I'll stick with the original

looks like a pt cruiser, not a box any more. YUCK!!!

it looks cool, but ugh it just looks like other vehicals now ahhhh!!

edit - someone is right it does look like a mix between an xa and xb lol, i wouldnt buy one...but they originally had ideas of changing things every few years or so didnt they? i wonder what else is in store. This version I would not buy though personally, im happy with my box though

Great catch! Lousy car.

I wonder if those things float or sink... I'd like to find out...

It's the butt end that makes it look xAish. From behind it looks like a tall xA!!
I can look at it and think that it looks kind of cool, but I always appreciated the boxiness of these cars. Isn't that what makes the bB so different from anything else on the road? It's kind of sad to me to see the end of the box shape- kind of like the end of an era or something. Sounds a little dramatic, I know, but anybody else feel this way too?

From the front it looks like a tabacco spitin' grasshopper. At least the "BOX" name won't transfer to this model so there should be no confusion with the original. I'm just gonna call it "the tobacco spitin' grasshopper"...

it's kinda like when your favorite band 'sells out' and you start hearing thier songs on propecia commercials or some crap...

this, to me, is clearly some type of nod to the PT loser design, so it's not surprising that this community (being so polarized against the PT) sees it as an afront. I pesronally see the train-wreck similarities between this heap the stylings of both the xA and xB, but it's more like some sort of genetic experiment gone horribly wrong.

Now, granted, much of the american car-buying public takes a loveIt/hateIt position with the xB. That works as long as enough people side with the car, as has been seen by the sales numbers. I would bet the farm that if you showed 100 potential buyers a lineup with the PT, the new bB, and an xB, that less than 5 percent would choose the bB.

I thought it might grow on me. still waiting...still waiting...

then again, fungus gan grow on a person, too.

Default well....

It is not 'too' bad. Still unique....I do not see as much PT as others. May not be a bad addition to buy and put with an original XB. But I will keep my original before I would ever trade it in for this new one. I dont care how much more sophisticated it may be. It is not as cool as our original.

But to have it and my original parked at my house?? could be an interesting combination of car-ownership.

"Hey",,,did anyone notice the Nissan CUBE parked outside the showroom in the second picture of the white one??..

Now "that" would be cool to own a CUBE and an original XB parked side by side at your house!

Default New box

Trying to let it grow on me The thought of xA, PT, and grasshopper in my head don't help.
Like the smell of liver and onions, when your eating apple pie. Or mom's picture to close to the bed

Some cool qualities, but too far off box. I think the rounded corners are too much.
