Question: Paint warranty on a 1,000-mile car?
Long story short. I was carelessly reversing out of a driveway; the right side of my car cleared, but the left car dropped off the top of the curb, leaving sidewalk scrapes on the bottom of my bumper. These aren't those "bottom bumper" scrapes where you can only see when you're bending over. This is visible.
I've had my car for barely a month now. Received my plate and registration barely 2 days ago. I was wondering if the dealership could repaint it since I barely broke 1000 mi. today and there is the paint warranty. The only problem is that it's lowered on aftermarket springs (H-Techs) and that it was my fault. If I can't, I guess I'll just leave it since I'll be scratching it numerous times inevitably. Thanks.

Depends on what the chips are from. If they're from highway driving (debris or rocks or something) then no. Not warranty. If it's because the paint is crappy and peeling, that's different.
And yes... they do have touch up paint.
www.paintscratch.com should have some touch up for you.

you should have bought it from the scion dealership i purchased my Xb from, they offered 90 day paint warranty on anything from a shopping cart hitting my car or from me rubbing up on something...but i believe if you droped the car that might be a different story
