Default Any Business Owner Wrap Their Xb's to Promote?

Part of the reason I'm thinking of getting an Xb is to promote my business. I'd like to wrap it in graphics like a rolling billboard. Are there any business owners here that have done this? If so, how much was it to have done? Do you think it was worth the expense? Any pictures would be cool....

Yeah, that's a great idea. Plenty of Real Estate on the xB to promote your company. What type of company do you own? I'm in Rhode Island.

I own these two businesses: www.blackmagiccarwash.com and www.out-backstorage.com . I'm thinking of wrapping the Xb to promote the storage business.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. Now if I can find someone on the East Coast who does work like that....

I saw a driving school xB in the area once. Can't find the pic but the vehicle belongs to Elite Driving School (White xB). I wonder if it's used as a driving car? Subtle but clear use of advertisement.

my girlfriend was telling me that there are actually places that will pay you to let you let them paint your car with their business advertised on it. they pay you like so much to drive around like that, and at the end of the term, they repaint it back to stock for you.

^^^I think that's right on-topic, and the program is usually a wrap, and NOT a paint.

I would like to know if anyone has an EPS cut pattern for the xB

I remember when they did that back in the 70's with VWs. They were mostly cigarette companies though. I mostly remember the Newport ones because of the colors.
That would be a good way to pay for mod parts for your box though.
Plus it's only temporary and it will protect your paint from stuff.

Not cool what they did to that RS2.0. They should have used a Camo for that one.

ive seen lots of wrapped xb's, of course im in the sign business so that makes sense. youre looking at upwards of $10-15 per sq ft with a wrap, so the avg vehicle can get pricey fast. that doesnt include design and misc fees some sign shops charge.

you dont necessarily have to use a full wrap to get the best bang for your buck either. you can use printed images just to add extra style. dont fall into the trap of getting crazy complicated graphics either, you want to promote your business not just have people go wow. they need to see the info you need them to see in a few seconds. look at the wrapped xb above, its hard to make out what exactly they do, even though the vehicle draws attention. and thats looking at a photo, imagine trying to read that while driving down the road. used properly the vehicle is the best sort of advertising, it looks professional, it gets tons more looks every single day than a yellow page ad, or any other ad for that matter. just think of the thousands of cars you pass.

yeah and few people paint ads on vehicles nowadays, its alot easier with a few clicks of the mouse and some keystrokes.

oh and stay away from red white and blue, patriotism is fine, but so many companies use those colours they all just blend together and noone remembers them.

Hey, does anyone have the templates to wrap the XB? I had emailed someone from another thread (which I can't find anymore) but never got a response. We just switched one of our large format printers (60" x however long the roll is) to UV inks here at work and I'd love to mess around with some of this stuff. Plus if it works out well and I can get the wrap material cheap enough I may be able to offer this up here at a fraction of what other places will charge.

The local ink cartridge refill stores have an xB that's been wrapped to promote their company. I'll try to remember to take a picture of it soon.

I see wrapped boxes all over the place in Jersey. A flower shop down by work has a bunch of them, white with floral decals and the company logo all over them.,
