Not sure what is the best, I doubt anyone has tried all of them. But i bought the perrin and i love it. I noticed a difference right away. Great quality too

I am wondering if there is any disadvantages to have under-driven?

Disadvantage would be nothing working as designed

Logically, but anything over 2k rpm and our charging system, power steering, etc would all be back to where it normally would be.

I would suggest get one that is NOT underdrive & is just lightened. the ZPI one is almost 4 lbs lighter, it will make a huge difference on the butt dyno, esp. if you already have other mods (read: I/H/E)

I will be getting the ZPI Pulley when my tax refund comes in.

Agency power. great price, nice looks (like anyone will see it haha) and very noticable to the 'ol butt dyno. I think i payed like $116 shipped from vividracing.com. couldn't be happier with it.

I would go with the Unorthodox underdrive pulley very nice piece, good power increase and it under drives your accessories by 10.75% making that power avaiable to the wheels. That is unless you have a big stereo and than don't buy a pulley at all because you are hauling around a lot of extra weight already!

Well...I like the Agency Power pulley and have had no problems with it so far. To be completely honest with you, I have a lot of weight in stereo equipment & Dynamat in my box and can't tell you for sure of any power gains from the Agency pulley. It is very well made and looks great but in reality you will probably be the only one to see it on your car so looks aren't all that important. I really feel it is a vast improvement over the stock pulley in quality and weight but I really can't tell you which pulley is the best because I have only tried the Agency pulley and not any of the others.

Hope this helps in your decision and if you have any other questions please feel free to ask me.

I have the CNR underdrive pulley. I highly recommend it! The car drives great and has much quicker revs! The disatvantage to running underdrivin, is if your going to run a system. The system draws a lot more power from your altanator. If you like me and are fine with the stock system, you will have no problems running an underdriven pulley.

That is the bottom line...system=stock size / no system go with an underdrive.....that is about as simple as it comes..Nice work Carviperblue!
