Announcing another opportunity for Scion owners to get together talk about our cars, how much we like driving them and what we plan to mod next.

Gresham Scion is hosting us for the first of a monthly series of "Dealer nights". Giving the dealer a chance to get to know the owner/enthusiasts in the area and all of us a chance to get to know the dealer.

I am still finalizing the details: I hope to have refreshments, some entertainment, some cool modded Scions to check out and maybe raffle off some prizes. I will edit this post as it gets finalized. I am thinking 7pm to 930pm would be good as this is a Tuesday night and many of us have to work during the day.

We'll, I've got the date set to shoot paint for the 16th and he'll be done hopefully by the 18th, but more than likely it'll be the 20th before I see the car back. So providing I can get a babysitter, I'll be there. :pray:

oh, if I do get up there, could I get another handful of those PNW SE club cards to hand out? I've been seeing tc's down here like EVERYWHERE. None of them mod'd yet, I think I saw three just on my drive home from school Thursday.

Looks like I'll be the lone xA, again. Guess that makes me special, lol. If I had a place to get the car warm, I'd put on my new dash appliques, may have to wait until spring from the looks of things outside today.

Use a blow dryer to heat up the appliques. I used one for my fog light overlays a couple weeks ago and they came out fine. I even did the install outside.

hmmm, I may have to try this, would like to get them on, I think they will look good when its done, thanks for the advise.

I'm still expecting to make the trip. Of COORs, I'd don't currently have a ride because the painter/pin striper bit off a little more than he expected, so it'll be :pray: Monday afternoon.

The bummer deal is the chome window seals I ordered from sparks had a broken end, so they are headed back monday, no word on the side skirts yet and the tail light garnish was not exactly what I was expecting, I thought the garnish was suppose to be chrome, turns out it's silver.

I'll post again monday as to time frames. I've got a guy posting on SE that says he may make the trip up, and I'm trying to get him to talk his son into heading up also (a tc owner).

Got my rig back tonight... I'm totally sick right now, they pin striper took a little more liberty than expected and completely changed the highlights and the pin strip color to a magenta vs. the grey we had discussed... I'll give it a couple days to see how it "grows" on me, then I may be taking it back to have it all striped off and done again.

I understand coffee is cheap, if I stop by it'll just be for a little bit. Being drowsy and handling liquid oxygen all day probably isn't the safest thing for me, or the nice folks at the Subaru of America that share a building with us.

Home early to put the chrome side skirts on and praying that the replacement windown trim comes up the road b4 I leave... Jury is out on those sparks chrome side skirts. They are either going to be really damn ugly, or um, really damn weird.. Hopefully neither.. The wife just wants me to send them back and pay the restocking fee.. I say naaaaa.... Put em on, if they be ugly, I'll just put them in the pile of stuff in the corner of poor purchases and stuff I bought and never put on....

I had a great time this evening. A little chilly, but all in all a great time, until my tire went flat. I got it fixed and everythings ok now. Hopefully there will be more of these events to come, maybe other dealers will become involved with the Scion owners, not just future owners.

Thanks for coming out everyone, it was a good turn out. I would have like to see some more new owners but it was great to see everyone who was there. Some nice cars and some old friends. The plan is to contact each dealer and have one of these events monthly at a different location.

had a great time last night, Matt, glad you got your tire fixed. Too bad my car was so nasty dirty, would've looked nice if it had been clean, oh well, hard to do when is raining and you work at a grain elevator, grain dust and rain equal paste. I could talk to the dealereship in Longview and see if they would be up for something like this also. Pictures?? lets see them.
