Default Anyone install the Injen Ram Air Kit in a 2006 Box?

I have found no way to attach the vsv to the vsv mount. Don't laugh but I have temporarily duct taped it. Anyone have any suggestions. The vsv has a place for a screw, but the screw won't fit through the slot in the vsv mount. Anyone else have this problem?

I have the YDR intake. Kind of a clone to the injen. Seems most guys are just ty wrapping it to the bracket.

Is that what you did, wrap it around the mount?
I'm thinking that I could cut the plastic clip on the wires down a bit and jam that in there.

Well, I have an 05. Mine just clipped onto it. I think, just as long as it secured down, any method should do. I wouldn't try to modify it, only because if you want to put it back to stock, you'll have to buy another one.

Thanks for replying. Yeah it is secured, it's just that it is duct taped and I would like to take my box to a couple shows so I can't have it ducted tape. I need something neat. Perhaps injen can send me a modified vsv mount that I could use. I'm going to email them again.

Good idea, it might be wise to talk to the person you bought it from, they might be able to help you out.

How did you get the screw through the slot in the mount?

The tech guy from Injen recommended a zip tie. I think I'm going to go that route. Thanks for replying. BTW, the install over all went well.

My box went from being slow to being loud and slow
