Hey all, well i have a quick Q, i noticed today that when i start up my xB, after everything flashes and all that jazz, there is an amber light that reads "Maint Required" It flashes for a few seconds after everything else has stopped,
has anyone ever had this happen, is it bad, does it mean anything, is it normal?
im kinda worried about it, because its not like it stays on, it flashes for a few seconds after everyhting else, any help is apprecited

 

if your near 5k on your odo... its most likely saying "oilchange" time..... every 5k it'll show up

 

im at 10 something and i am very regular with my oil changes

 

like kkawana said, it comes on every 5K miles... and it is to remind you to do your oil changes... it doesn't matter if an actual oil change was performed or not... if you have your car serviced at a toyota dealership, they typically turn it off for you...
