Hey guys,

I got a great deal on this Kit, but I don't know if it will fit the U.S. xA's

The company even comes with springs, exhaust, and wheels for the xA.

its made by NKB... It _should_ fit. You might have to bondo the sides of the front and back bumper, though. The xA has those US-mandatory bumper thingies...

What the non-us ist's don't have bumpers?

You will have to remove the bumper reinforcements. That kit is made for the 1st-gen Japanese Ist and won't fit over the larger reinforcements of the US-Spec.

I don't think he can just remove the reinforcements. The bumpers are actually bigger. He'd either have to remove the reinforcements and get the ist bumpers...or just fabricate...

So you are saying that bumper reinforcements make the xA bumper bigger which can't fit this lip? it is only a lip though so the bumper reinforcement part is above the openings.

I am spending around 1k on these and will get the 16x9 wheels as well, but just wanted to see if anyone has experience with them.

how did you pull off that deal??

1k for body kit is not cheap.. the 16x9's are about 300 a piece.

Supposedly memoryfab.com is their official US distributor and is running a special. I live near by and ran into someone that works there.

I can get a group buy on this kit going but now that I here there will need modifications with the kit..I'm now not so excited to bring it over here...

but I can get the cost....more affordable....$$$....it's a bummer...guess will have to stick to KS for our xA's

Its the same as my problem. I just removed the reinforcement bar and the bumper lines right up. Just dont get in a crash like me cuz my whole frame, a/c, and radiator were tore up like a mutha

us bumpers are different than the ist bumpers... i was told by a few people this. carsion scion said they were different and the gentleman i'm doing a grill trade with for xa for ist in singapore said his measurements were less than i was getting. you might wanna double check to make sure.

I just wanted to let you guys know the NKB front piece is only a lip. If you take a look you only attach to the bottom part of the front bumper, so there is no safety bumper issues involved with the Japanese spec bumpers.

I am just wondering if the lip will fit. The guys at http://memoryfab.com said if the fitment is not perfect they will make a new mold for the xA :D

That kit is SIC, if it would fit on the xA, that would be cool.

Looks like the front part is a lip, won't it go over the stock bumper? Maybe just a little shaving work to get some final fitment?

Looks like it might bolt up in place of the stock lip.
