I walked out to the box and saw them for the first time.
I'll take the ghetto approach and use a sharpie on 'em.
lahub 05-07-2004, 11:43 AM How 'bout covering them with Blue Batmobile tint?

Yes, tint them with an overpriced exterior vinyl. Brilliant idea.
Andrew
TheScionicMan 05-07-2004, 09:48 PM Same as my suggestion, just more expensive and harder to get. Black duct tape is vinyl. Two pieces on each side. The edges blend with the edges of the label and it doesn't have the stringy texture like regular duct tape. Works great until I find matching material to cover them like mentioned above. I mainly wanted to get rid of the eyecatching power of the yellow. Maybe its the stigma attached to the words duct tape... :?:
XBman 05-08-2004, 12:09 AM i was thinking of just rippin em off
ONE_HOT_BOX 05-08-2004, 12:19 AM i went with this approach...
Make your sub box big enough to cover them up.. easy
TheScionicMan 05-08-2004, 12:31 AM If you look at them, they look like they are melted/bonded right to the fabric. I don't think the whole thing will come off. At best, you could cut inside the seam, but you'll still have squares there and i can't tell for sure what's under them.
I prefer to have non-permanent mods.
If you could find a seatcover for the rear - problem solved...

I just cut a small section to see what is under them. It is just Carpet! So, if you don't mind small almost inrecognizable squares on the back of your seat, your good. I will prolly do nothing w/ mine. I actually didn't realize they were there at all.
Thanks.
