...I have the midnite blue xB and it is a royal pain keeping clean.
When I wash it by hand, I'm pretty much guaranteed water spots.
Does anyone else have this problem?
I live in Irvine and there are so many damn minerals in the water that it spots no matter how quickly I dry it.
PLEASE HELP

get yourself a chamois cloth... basically you want to get it damp and use it to dry your car.... it'll remove any water spots you might have ...

I've been using the Mr. Clean carwash system. It uses special soap and a special water filter that removes minerals. etc. Alos, you don't have to dry the car due to the ionizing feature of the filter. Works well on my Blue Onyx Pearl xB.

Works well on the 30+ cars i've used mine on. I suggest it over hand drying any day.

imthinkin abou tbuying that mr clean system. does it really work. i mean are there no spots wat so ever, or will it work better in combination w/ drying with a chamois.

I've washed my black-as-night Beetle with it in DIRECT sunlight, about 90* weather. No water spots, except for the windows, but I sqeegee those anyways.

Yeah, I bought the AutoDry today, 19.97 at Walmart. I do have a TCM, so dirt and stuff isn't that noticeable. Note, however to make sure you grab a mitt or sponge (not included) and wash thoroughly. Also when adding the included soap, make sure the spray gun is flat as shown in the Owners manual when you add the soap to the appropriate arrowed level.
