theres another guy in tsw that has that done too, it looks pretty cool, it seems easy to do...did you hook them to a switch or to the headlight switch?

looks good, ScionJohn has that up here in the Bay area but put some reflective sort of tubing in there to better get the light out... he's going off with the lights, under dash lights, probably find a disco ball in there soon enough. Oh wait that's ScifixB (Matt) who's hit that one, but he just needs some directional lights to shine on it

ok its me again... ...but i have a question for toyotaisme...hey are the lights have any probelms with the heater or the A/C? would the lights get damaged with the heat or cold? cause i know winter is upon us and i'm gonna be using my heater like crazy in that box...and i was curious if the lights would get damged? or do you even know? thanks...

No problems with a/c or heat they are the same lights that go on the cup holder. They are installed on the same switch as the cup holder. The light has a protector in front of it for the moisture.

Nice, very nice. :)
ScionJohn is gonna have one hell of show for yall. not gonna spoil it (its his glory).
SciFixB and I have been working on several lighting projects, mostly indirect / ambient stuff.
The A/C mod is pretty simple and just about any LED will do, but for best effect, try some aluminum ducts in the vents. I hear ScionJohn used the lights from windshield nozzels.

http://www.frozencpu.com & http://www.pcmods.com both have pretty decent lighting sections. All 12v DC, some bare wire, most with molex connectors so it's not difficult to wire up. Anybody doing DIY projects should check them out. Cold Cathodes, EL Wire, EL Tape, Hyperlights, etc, etc.
