Did anybody here buy a whistler hardwired radar detector? Im wondering how you liked it and where you mounted it ..... thanks.

 

I hardwired a Whistler Pro 73. Mounted it low on the windshield and ran the wire in between the windshield and the dash, cam around underneith the steering wheel and everything then connected everything in the center consel.......my tools:

A butter knife
plenty of zip ties

 

oh - you are talking about a regular detector right? I meant to say the whistler radar detector series that is meant to "only" hardwire.

top into the cig lighter, tuck the wires under, and enjoy -

 

Whistler Pro Series 3450 - is the one im going to be installing. but im not sure if it will work ok if i mount the eyes between the grille

 

i have hardwired mine to the fuse box and the same one 3 other xb's... no problems... love it

 

the whistler? ..if so do you have pictures?
