None out yet--and yes, it would cost more than 300 and quite possibly have fitment problems--look at how huge the rear hatch is, and you would have to slam the crap out of a light CF one to get it to shut, as many of us even with stock hatches need to do already.

My car is in the shop as we speak and a carbon rear hatch is in development, once the car is out we're going to see how the response is for the hatch and hopefully have it available to the public. We're also doing carbon flares and some other carbon goodies; I'll keep you guys posted on the progress. Oh, and we're going to try and get the price point near $550, plus or minus a little. Check out CFType.com for some of the work that's already been done for other applications.

You should make it japanese style, without the license plate holder on the hatch.

i don't see a cf hatch being that great on our cars. being rear ended would be a concern for me plus the hatch would need to be cf front and back along with have a window.

The no license plate spot would require the JDM skirting, wouldn't it? I'd like to see a spoiler and hatch that is all one piece, with a more aggressive spoiler than OEM but not to the point of Ricy-ness. Scrap the rear Wiper. It seems like an interesting spot for CF. I don't think the OEM hatch gives that much structural support, so it doesn't seem like it would change much. Fitment and closing would probably be a bigger issue...

I think it would look extremely tacky having this huge door made our of carbon fiber then your car is totally different color...it would only look good on black

would also be a very difficult item to close, since the arms that we currently use would be to strong and slamming a carbon hatch isnt an option......i see it being more of a nuisance than worth the while. good idea...just not so practical, great if you dont like using the back hatch on a normal basis...me im opening that thing every too seconds.

thats why i bought a black xB.....so CF blends nicely...

For the record, I think carbon fiber is the silliest thing since tribal graphics. To each their own though, it's about what moves YOU, not me.

Okay... So if it's not going to be on the hatch and not on the skirts... Then where? Stick it in the window? That'd look kewl...

Whatever brings you joy, i don't have to get in the car in the morning.

It's all about the subtle touches though. I'd say instead of the CF back hatch, rock a CF spoiler, lip, and fenders, then on the inside just cover all the brushed silver parts with CF and get a CF shift knob. Bang, tasteful application of CF.

Then do huge tribal flames on everything.

Hell Huge??? No way do them so big they wont fit on the side... Honestly I got my xB in Black because of how it makes Carbon Fiber look so subtle..I dont think I would do it on a white xB even I like subtle.. My flames are even sort of small...and subtle...lol

Your flames aren't even that tribal'd out and yeah, CF does look much better on black than silver/white/light colors.

Do you do custom graphics?

Yea I have a 24" plotter and do them for myself friends and aquaintances.. I do a little here and there for people from SL..

I think it makes a good accent for Camo, I agree with the "done tastefully" part.

I've got the door handles, gas door and trunk lid accent. A CF hood and spoiler are my finishing touches, eventually/hopefully...

I think the CF hood and a CF hatch and spoiler would almost be a two tone. I think it would look tight on Camo. Paint the top black or actually layed with CF and it would be a cool color effect, IMO.
