Salvaged xB Needs Parts
Hey guys, I found a xb at a local auto auction that has been drilled in the front end. Looking at it, it's going to need a hood, both fenders, bumper, headlights. Basically the whole front end.
Any dealers here who can give me a rough est. for the parts. Just curious if it's worth getting up early to go try to get it this week.

Nope it's not one of the monster garage twins, I'm not that crazy! It's a black cherry, looks like it rear ended a truck, the way the damage was on it.
I'm going to have to call one of the local scion dealers and see what the oem parts would cost and how long the wait would be. Weren't people waiting a long a$$ time for parts?

You're brave for even considering this. I gaurantee its frame damaged and it will never be straight. If you want it for parts, that's another matter, but to rebuild... you're brave.
I have personally seen hundreds of cars crashed in the front from moderate to blasted practically to the windshield. They can be fixed and if the parts are the right price and you have connections you can save some serious money. The fact that 95% of the vehicles have salvage titles is the only downside (hard to resell), but not as hard to resell as you might think. I have done some of these myself including Neons, Navigators, F150, etc. and usually have very good luck. However, it is always tricky doing rebuilders on new model year vehicles. Hopefully for your sake aftermarket metal is out or on the way. Good luck.
