Default XM....

I'm sorry if this has been asked before, I did a search but couldnt really find the answer I was looking for.

Is it impossible to set up an XM direct connection with the stock Sat-Ready Pioneer head unit? Other than straight from the factory, I mean. I was told by my dealer to go to Circuit City instead of having it factory installed. I went there and they told me they couldn't do it.

Is there anything I can do?

Yes, the unit is complete, and for a short time, it will come with Free Service for 1 year. It's a great deal.

Yea its really annoying when dealers tell people to come to Circuit City... cause then they come talk to me and i tell them no and they are like well the dealer told me you do. Since you know the dealer knows more then the guy who deals with car audio full time.

end rant

Oh btw Terk makes this XMDTLK part for Toy/Lex with XM logos. Its 299 avalible from dealer.

I agree. My entire ordeal getting this car was awful from the beginning, but thats another story.

Is there anywhere on here that explains how to install it myself?

Just click on the link below and you'll be on trdsparks.com (Sparks Toyota/Scion) The instructions are in the upper right hand corner of the page for you.
