Default The real history of the Toyota bB...

Yes, today I will share with you the true story of the Toyota bB.

The bB was originally dream up by Toyota junior engineer, Hidoi Chinkasu, in early 1993. Chinkasu was a simple man. He enjoyed long walks on the beach, putting children in cardboard boxes, and watching women ride lawnmowers.

Then one day, he realized his love of children in boxes and women on lawnmowers could be combined! He would design a super vehicle! One that could be like a box and a lawnmower together!
Early designs of his super vehicle were laughed at by Toyota executives. Yet, he never gave up hope. Everywhere he looked, the was something to remind him of his dream vehicle.

He knew that someday people would ride around in their lawnmower/box vehicles and be happy, despite the ridicule the might have to endure from others.
Always he pushed for his ideas, and in early 1998 a design of his was finally approved.

Finally, in early 1999, the dream was realized. The Toyota bB was finally released to the world.

Hidoi Chinkasu was truly a great man, but will never receive the recognition he deserves. Unfortunately, Mr. Chinkasu died early the next year from a severe taint infection. He never got to see the happiness he had brought to all the millions who like boxes and lawnmowers, but we will never forget him.

I believe Tetsuya Tada was the engineer who came up with the design. :rolf:

I thought it was quite comical! Especially the taint reference.
