i think rockblocker is thicker, thus the name

Rockblocker does use a thicker/stronger material. But if you're doing your rear lights, it won't really matter either way - unless you drive in reverse a lot. Totally your call on price and reputation... though they both do have excellent reputations here.

here's bat's page: http://photobucket.com/albums/y42/BlueBatmobile2005/

i got my fog overlays from him. very smooth transactions and great products. i think that bat's overlays all around are fine, but if you are worried about chips in your lights, id probably justt go with rockblockers on head lights and fogs and bat's on all the other lights.

Bats are tints....so they just offer a color difference

Rockblocker is vinyl and offers paint and light protection

Exaclty! Also, my material is NOT tint material. Its a 7 Year Premium High Performance Vinyl :).

Here's my 6/10 Tint along with my smoke redout brakelight overlay to match the tails :):

Well we don't use sign vinyl, ours are a tough yet pliable 22mil thick impact resistant vinyl with a nice gloss. Their strength also make for a much easier install than some others you may find. There are a lot of different materials out there these days. Lots of choice is a good thing!

To give you a better idea of what the install process is like try this

im basicly lookin for three things. 1) gloss 2) easy application 3) longevity.

i removed my spray on tint because i wanted more light output to be seen from the leds i installed in my taillights. However, it seems i somehow got some light white streaks on my right taillight. It barely noticeable, but i still need it to get fixed. Overlays are the best option atm.

btw. bat do you have pics of the 3/10 smoke taillights?

i tell you what, BlueBatMobile does an amazing job with his vinyl overlays... shown BSP tC is mine.. :P and hes always making better and more creative designs... as goes for the tails trust BlueBat.. i wouldnt take them off, they look too good... also BlueBat smoked out all my lights on my tC.. that and BlueBat doesnt charge that much to make your tC stand out and look good.. I never heard of roadblocker.. and i think he might be rockblocker, but rock blocker is only good for clear bras.. i wouldnt get overlays from him.. due to the fact that his material is too thick.. so there you go.. :tap:

Here's a pic of my 3/10 on a G35. Subtle, but noticable :).

Sounds like u should come to meet out here in AZ and check out our kits. Price is comparable and quality is the same. Installation is easier in our opinion since you can work with it more for beginners.

I went with rockblocker I absolutely love it, I got it on my headlights and my tail lights. I got it for xmas matter of fact and when both grandmas got the same thing, they let me return it!!! I will completely endorce their product and return policy. I've got blue on the headlights and smoke on the tail lights. I know its an xB but its still a good, no great company!

I vote for the Bat. I first heard of his products a couple of years ago on g35driver.com where a bunch of peeps ran his taillight overlays. I have purchased a few overlays from BlueBat and the shipping was super fast, the product was nice and thick, but easy to work with while installing, and there were instructions included which were very helpful.
