hotchkis rear only but there are these chamber bolts for the front if you want to pick them up

both most ppl want chamber to make the wheel look like this | bot for maximum grip in a turn it needs to be like this / \ on each side so that as you roll in to a turn the wheel with alot of weight on it say a left turn puts weight on the right wheels so they go from this \ to an angle like this | and that is what - chamber does but as far as a drag racing app you would want the largest contact patch in a straight line so it realy depends on what your doing

Joker: why do you think you'll need a camber kit? Most of the people looking to get one, don't actually need it. Like if you put lowering springs on - that doesn't mean that you need a camber kit just to correct it. Most of the correction can be made by an alignment and keep it within spec.

Read these I posted on another thread please

On the Hotckiss rear kit.

"Excellent product, had them on for many months now. Wether you need them or not depends on a few things, like how lowered your car is and what the camber is now compared to what it should be for your purposes, i.e. autocrossign, road racing, daily driver, etc. Do you need to adjust the camber for varying uses of the car as above or care to do this as needed? The stock setup has some range of adjustment built in, is it enough for your needs?

Give as much info as possible and hopefully you can get an answer that will be of use, I have them and need them, maybe you do as well "

and:

"That is a fairly big drop, (S techs) to much for stock suspension geometry in my book but never the less let's get on to camber.

You may have a bit of excessive camber, if not you done yet you should have a four wheel alignment done and set to factory specs if you just drive normally. If you like to have fun on the twisties then go for a bit more negative camber in the front but not much in the rear, just a bit more than stock can be fine, to much causes understeer, to little can cause oversteer.

Let it be known how serious you are about handling and how much you use the car for that. If you do it alot more aggressive settings will improve the handling and actually help even out tire wear, to a degree. If you mainly commute then fairly close to stock settings are called for.

If you have not had an alignment since installing the springs, that is the biggest issue you face right now and could of already started wear patterns that nothing can cure completely and accelerated wear is just going to have to be lived with.

More info required;) "

That kit sure seems promising but I wish they posted a picture of it instead of a simple drawing so I could analize it better.

Seems like it may do the trick and the price is low enough that it is probably worth trying, it still would need put on an alignment rack for most cars though. I have enough experience to verifiy it without a rack but I have been doing this stuff well over 30 years, the first car I lowered was in 1972, my Datsun 510

I have no need for these or I would order them, test and report my findings.

Do the stock struts on front allow for some adjustment?
Are the lower mount holes slotted a little or something?

How much rear camber adjustment can be made with the stock rear adjusters? Has anyone HAD to buy the Hotchkis rear set??

I'll be putting on my tanabe springs this weekend. I'm just looking for a little info on what I might run into...

TIA
