The show is June 17th in Tulsa, Ok.(It's a Saturday)

We are blocking 3 blocks off in the shape of a T.

The new for 2006 Scion semi will be at the show!

Also, big bonus:
The National Alfa Romeo Convention is in town the same weekend. They are blocking off a different area of downtown and doing a road rally!
We are sharing a parking lot with their staging area so we can see all the cars coming in and out during the races. :)
There will be some shade from buildings and the trees in the lot we are using but it wouldn't be a bad idea to bring canopies or something because this is Oklahoma and it will be June.

The show will be from 12-4 PM.

You need to call 1-918-622-7000 to make your reservations so you can tell them you are with the Scikotics car show at the Brady. I'm not sure why they listed it that way, but they did.

The rooms are $65 a night. You can get a king or 2 doubles. You can get 5 people in a room without extra charge -- so if you are wanting to stay cheap you could pile in.

Oh, and for the adults, there is a bar and a pub within the area we are blocking off.

The Tulsa chapter is doing the judging, therefore no one from the Tulsa chapter will be competing. We will keep it to just the Tulsa chapter since we are the hosts. We are trying to make it as fair as possible.
Brad, the HMFIC of the Tulsa chapter, is in charge of the judging. He is doing the all the sheets himself and will come up with what puts you in your class.
The ruling of the judges on classes will be final, it will not be based on opinions but on facts. No drama allowed............lol.

There will be three classes for each Scion type and 3 places in each class, thats 27 trophies right there. Then we will also have Best in Show, Peoples Choice and Most Scikotic.
The Most Scikotic award is one I am personally giving away to the car I like the most, it doesn't matter how much it's done up or how much money was spent on it. It just has to be the one that strikes me as the coolest.

Classes are as follows

Sane = Street
Twisted = Mild
Sciko = Wild

1pm Hands On Competition (Prize is a set of rims from perfectlyround.com by Fowler Scion of Norman)

yeah to have 70 when the event is still months away, i think it will be impossible NOT to have 100.

I am still waiting for confirmation from Scion on whether or not their new Semi will be there as I was told it would be a while back.

Last year we had the Scinergy "Meet in the Middle" in Denver. Several of the folks came in from the West Coast. If the Scinergy folks can make it, then surely our Scikotic brothers and sisters can make it to Oklahoma.

The hotels we are lookin into are going to guarantee us at least 100 rooms for preregistration -- so there will be no shortage. We should have a decision made for the hotel by the end of the week so you all can book early. Thanks for being patient. (Holding a car show is a full-time job in itself --- :relief: ... who knew?)

Picked a hotel.......I'm signing the contract next week to lock in the rates and hold the rooms.

Rates will be $65 a night, but that can be for rooms with 2 beds and they don't charge extra for more people. I could have gone with one that was a little cheaper but the rooms weren't as nice and the setup wasn't as nice.

Can't beat a two story hospitality room right next to the pool for the Sat. night pool party. :wink:

If you are coming into Tulsa from Missouri on I-44 Turnpike you'll see signs about 20 miles out that say "Beware, hitchikers could be escaped inmates". It's near a town called Vinita. They are for the state hospital for mentally insane.

Someone should take their pics next to the signs on the way in to Asylum.

What do you think I've been doing every trip to ZPI... My g/f thinks it's stupid. A few others thought I was nuts too. But they don't own Scion Paint jobs... But I want the car dolley for the mileage factor. We would rather rent a truck and trailer then to put those miles on the tC....ESPECIALLY when the car is running PIG rich and sucks gas through those 550cc injectors like a "hoe on a $3k John".

The Red Room is a very nice spot, only open for about 3 months, you can expect a great club for drinking, dancing and/or socializing -- it draws a good mix of people, and I am personally inviting every Asylum attendee to come on out!

This is a FREE club, you all will be ready to go out and party anyways, you can make this the get-together spot and enjoy the Scions out front, Scion product free giveaways all night, and Scion signage inside the venue! That, plus the chance to hear some great music, meet the local ladies and have some good drinks!

glowoff with my 4 interior cold cathodes....errr, 3 now that one isn't working :(

Basically for me, other mods > lighting.

haha, i entered and all i have is 4 cathodes and an underbody led kit that I got second hand. :P

:doh: I have a box of 12" yellow glow sticks :rofl: , they are bright guess i can use them ..

If you have any lights at all you should register -- not necessarily to win but just to light up that freaking parking lot. There will be a glow coming from the center of Tulsa!

There is no cover charge which means we won't be held captive inside. I bet there will be a lot of people in the street outside of the club just hanging.

10-2 Raffle tickets will be sold for $1 each

Seriously, we're going to use the common sense rule, to an extent. When you register you will fill in the class you think you belong in. Then, at noon, Brad and I will go around and make sure everyones common sense goes along with ours. If we feel you belong in a different class, for whatever reason, we will move you.

I want to let you all know that we will have private security Fri and Sat overnight at the hotel to watch all of the cars.

There is a section of the parking lot blocked off just for us. It is in the middle of the hotel, behind the pool. Ask about it when you check in.

Hello everyone guess what I`m coming to the show I`ll be leaving early Friday.I`m staying at the Holiday Inn Select I think that `s were everyone else is staying they had only three rooms left and I got one .lucky me.Can`t wait to see everyone .Have a safe trip there. :D
