My customized ScanGauge
Just thought I'd share these pictures of my ScanGauge. This is a fantastic tool for the price! The biggest complaint I've seen is that the unit is, well ... a bit ugly. I did some custom paintwork and reapplied a different bezel sticker made from some faux carbon fiber overlay. I also created an aluminum plate mount to raise the unit about 3/8" up, and make a level surface (the steering cowl is slightly bowed). Hope this gives some ideas to those who may have this fun little toy!
This is a picture of it after I finished painting/rebezeling it:

Here's a picture of how it integrates into the entire dashboard:

Lastly, here's a picture of some of the readouts on the ScanGauge:

Because of where I located it, it is VERY easy to use on the fly. I'm usually switching between the "Gauge" mode and the "Trip" mode, and it's a quick one-finger operation. The "Home" button is the lower centered button. This will get you to whichever menu/mode you want to go to. The only initial setup I made was the engine size (1.5L), so it could better gauge the fuel consumption. Everything else was default, and the CANFS bus protocol was automatically detected.
