I am having a issue with spacing and rubbing against the rear and front suspension.
I am running 215/45/R17 Yokohama ES100's on 5Zigen FN01R-C 17x7 +38 offset.
I belive that the shims would cure this issue, i just need to find a way to make contact so i can buy. I have experienced the rubbing for 2 days( newly installed wheels, tires, tien basic coilovers)

HELP

You can get the spacers at precision muffler, talk to gabe.
You can also change your tire to a 205/45/17 or 205/40/17.

are you rubbing the shocks/struts? if so, the shims will probably work, but you still need help on the fronts.

also, why not run stock wheels for a little while instead of screwing your new tires.

ok, i put the stock steelies back on, and the ride is back to normal. No rubbing. I belive that the tire, not the rim was rubbing against the strut. I am running tien basic coilovers and am new to raising and lowering the car. I could not exactly see where the rubbing was occuring in the front because of the low stance. When the wheels came off i looked for marks on the tire and inner suspension, i saw none. My fingers could feel about a feathers width of room between the tire and rubbing contact point front and rear. I have e mail van and will try precision muffler, about the shims. I assume i can run the same shims up front as well as rear? Again the tire specs are 215/45/r17 yokohama ES100's on 5Zigen FN01R-C 17x7 +38 offset.

Oh yea for anyone with an 2006 xa those ES100's are WIDE, and i hope that these shims work because
1. another set of new tires......not happenen
2. another set of new tires......not happenen

Will the wheel spacers help as well or are those not neccessary, i belive that the shims 10mm will be good i hope. The tire/wheel combo does not rub and plastic, nor in turns, but from a stop to start i can hear rubbing rubber against something. Like i said i have about a feathers width of room front and back between the rubbing spot and tire. I wonder if the rubbing is making the front seem like i am riding with wheels that weight about 2 pounds. When i turn from a stop its like i have to bring it back the same compensation as the width of the tire or i end up going in that direction. I dont know what i am saying. I am used to subaru's
