Default TRD intake...

Does the TRD intake void the warranty on the car? does it effect the warranty in anyway? Is it not a good idea to install this if you go on the highway? it mentions that its not for highway use.... On the other hand does someone have the TRD intake yet? if you do, how good is it? how good does it sound? power? hp? torque?

TRD intake is not CARB exempt, and it may (most likely will) alter, if not void, your warranty.

When the term "highway" is used in legal matters, it means the regular road system, not just the highway system. As for it voiding your warranty, there are many threads on this, use the search button.

If its going to void your warranty, they have to prove that the intake was the cause of the problem.
