Hello fellow Scion owners.

My name is Phillip and I drive a 05 scion tC rs1.0. I live in Milwaukee, WI and I've heard about Scion Syndicate; a scion based team here in milwaukee. My mission statement if you wanna call it it that is to get a group of people together and acutally do stuff car shows, events, help with installation on cars and just have a good time.

If i get a decent amount of responces I'd like to go ahead and make a club, give it a name (name will be choosed by everyone who wants to participate) I'd like to get the ball rolling ASAP. I don't nessarrcarly want to call this a club more of a community without fee's or manditory club meetings, i just want to create a place where Scion owners of all kinds (tC, xA and xB) can come together to show the love and apperication of our cars.

Im not sure how Syndicate runs up there but what you are looking for in Milwaukee is exactly what we do here in Chicago all the time. hopefully you find some people interested and decide to become a part of Scion Evolution.

Yes thoes are my thoughts exactly. I don't want something where you gotta prove something in order to be accecpted. Just having a scion is enoughf or me, sharing knowlege and stores and experiences is what its all about!!

i know some of us r going to make an effort to go up to wisc a couple of times this show season.

oh yeah, and my wife is from near sheboygan so i drive up there a few times a year. sigh. u should buy tickets to the brewers home opener and come tailgate w/ me and my soon to be brother in law and his friends and current bro in law. oh good time last year, i wonder if there was a game?

very awesome thanks for your reply Sarah. I acutally bought my scion from Andrew toyota/scion. I'm a local resident in Glendale. As of now the club/community is just an idea i had. I'd love to come in and maybe discuess some things for future plans. about time someone wants to get something going that isn't necessarily a "Club". Just some people who want to hang out. Have some install get togethers, etc.

I'm in. I say we get an install party set up.

over the summer i tried getting a BBQ or something going at a dealership to get people involved and brought into the Scion World if you will. No one seemed interested. Maybe now we could try and get something going with that.

I tried to get a Milwaukee meet together last summer, too. Maybe this spring/summer will be better.

Hello! Sarah again at Andrew Scion. Phillip- tried to call you today, I'll try agian. I am totally up for holding a BBQ this spring! That is a great idea to get all Milwauee Scion owners together to talk and get informed! I've seen how Florida's car shows are, and it's sick how tricked out all the cars are! Milwaukee can be the same! I'm just getting up and running here at Andrew, so look for events in the near future!

we should get a spring get together going at the dealership. early may or something. get scion owners there and have a way for people interested in scions to see what they are all about. we could try and get a radio station there and get a few sponsors.

another option would be meeting in Lake Geneva.
we can have a bbq at one of their many parks, and tackle Snake Road once again. being so early in the season, there shouldn't be that many tourists crowding the streets.

Thanks for the invite! I'm really not into the HIN stuff anymore, though. Last show I went to was Import Revolution in 2003 or 2004. Just not my thing.

I went to the first HIN in Chicago in 2000 (actually ended up meeting my wife there).

Well, after checking the calendar, I'm going to be out of town that weekend anyway.

As a member of scion syndicate I can tell u that things r changed for this season, we welcome all those who have scions to come and see what we are about. We hang out together when we have a chance and are readily available to help with mods and buying parts. Last season we had someone else in charge of the club, so things have changed. In a lot of ways . if u ever have any questions or comments about the club, check out our site www.scionsyndicate.com we have some pictures and a lot of discussion forums. Our next meeting will soon be posted on our site, and our show will be at don jacobs scion on south 27th st in milwaukee, it will actually be 2 shows in one, with a seperate daytime and nite time roll in or show for both. We are trying to get as many people involved as possible and really have a lot to offer, check us out

I'd like to get something going on myself, i've always wanted to get a club started, i have the "sponcership" of a local scion dealership and their facilites are at my disposal

Also do you think we could start a webpage up. There is another "club" in milwaukee sponcered by Don Jacobs Toyota. and they provided them with a website??! just curious

it doesn't make much sence for there to be 10 different clubs in Wisconsin. What is wrong with the existing clubs? Evo? syndicate? please take a look into these clubs and what they offer. there is a lot involved in starting a club, and right now there are clubs out there looking for new/more members.

I am in evolution... evolution meets once a month but i meet with the regular guys at least 2 times a week and talk just about every day. just because we meet more often and have out little group doesnt mean we need a seperate club name.

im not saying dont go through with it, but i am saying please look into the other clubs and what they have to offer you now that would take you years to build on your own...

Here in Chicago we call this ^^^^ getting owned.

The number one thing you need to learn is that we are all willing to meet up with any scion owner... but when someone comes in and says that they are going to do something better... we know there is nothing better than the community we have right here...

well, it seems like there is already at least 2 clubs with all the support u need and that u also have the support of a dealership to start ur own if u so choose. interest hasnt been high and all thats happening is people are causing problems.
please post if you are interested in joining/creating this new club, he seems to want to do his own thing, so lets not try and tell him what we already know, let him find out his way. nothing ventured nothing gained.
