i believe the 'red out' and similar black out procedures are in tech.

youve got a pleathora of options:

spray on the outside, then clear coat
bluebatmobile or similar (headlight armor) vynil appliques
or open it/them up and spray on the inside (a very hard option on tc's from what ive heard)

I bought a vinyl overlay for the 3rd taillight (Center) - just used soapy water and then pressed it down and smoothed it out.

The other taillights I bought from Zoltiz (http://blacktc.com/smokedtails). He does the smoked tails for $70 shipped.

They are many times thicker and stronger that typical sign vinyl (overlays) versions and are much easier to handle.

Bump for emphasis. If you have pictures of taillights with those red reverse overlays, and the back-up lights ON, and they look right to me, I'm definitely going to buy a set off of you.

While I'm sure your word is bond, I don't think I'd make a purchasing decision until I see it in a pic.

Keep me updated! =D

Hey if you want a way to do them but dont want to risk hurting your tails. I will sell my stock set to you so you can do whatever you want to them and not worry about not having tails.

$80 with only 200 miles on them.

(shameless plug to sell them :) )
