Hey Everyone,

I just got Eibachs on the xB and i have a few questions. The ride is great *feels like stock and looks clean. I did notice that the right side of my xb makes a tiny "thud" sound when it goes over bumps. And upon inspection, the pillar mount on the right side seems higher then the left. The ride feels good but the thud and the uneven pillar mount troubles me. If anyone has any info, please help a brotha out. Thanks in advance.

Hey ted,

Thanks for da quik response. We did this right side 3 times and got the same results. After CAREFULLY reviewing the tech on srping install, i noticed that we've always forgot to direct the rubber bushing arrow out. I just checked the bushing right now and it is facing inwards towards the car instead of facing out. Gonna try it out give it a shot tomorrow.

In addition to making sure you have all the insulators mounted correctly, check to make sure, when you reinstall the top hat, that you have it pushed down securely on the strut shaft. There are notches in the shaft, and you need to sorta wiggle the top hat to make sure it settles all the way down on the shaft. Sometimes an incorrectly-positioned top hat can make the car almost 1/2" higher!

Have you noticed the front higher then the back? Or is it even?
