Heya!!!

Just curious as to when the best time for the first oil change on an XB is??? I'm just about to crack the 1,000 mile mark, and I know it's not really good to drive for a long period with the break-in oil...

When did you guys and gals take your box in for it's first oil change??? And after that, my next question is, how often do you change the oil after that???

Personally, I'm a change it every 3 months regardless of the mileage kinda guy...Can I do this with an XB???

Any info would be greatly appreciated :D

In your glovebox you will find a leather-bound zip-minibinder with the scheduled maintenance, including when to change the oil :wink:

I changed mine at 3000. I believe the schedule says somewhere between 2500 and 3000, but I always change the oil every 3000 miles, unless I've been out in the country with abnormal amounts of dust and pollen and so on.

just wait until the maintanece light comes on and then go in

the guide says every 5000 to 7500 miles. these are newer engines, so doing it every 3000 is not really necessary.
