1. its 2800(dealer cost) + mark up + tax + etc
- dealer install price varies alot, call them!

2. Search!
2 clicks, 3 letters + ctrl-v

3. Search
-same as above and it will tell you this
"Search found 46 matches"
-is it worth it? look at the dyno because everybody's opinion on sc is different

I agree, please search, but I'll help ya out...

From what I have read on here (cuz I'm looking at the SC too) these are your answers:

Price is stated above...Not sure how much dealer charges for install, I'm sure its outrageous. I'm planning on doing mine myself...I think

I actually asked about the gas mileage just a few days ago in another thread, and what I got back was that gas mileage was the same with the SC as without for many people. Some people saw a slight decrease, but those who did considered it worth it, just 2 or 3 mpg maybe...almost anytime you make a car more high performance, you're gonna lose gas mileage, pure and simple.

And I started a thread on "was it worth it". The responses I get were def YES!!! They said that there was a big difference, especially if you change out the pulley and BPV (of course though, changing these will void the warranty).

Hope this helps...

1. Dealers are selling them for anywhere between $2,900 and $3,200. Installation varies. I think my store charges $500.

2. 24.5 mpg avg, down from 28mpg avg (NA)

3. yes

For me

1. $3360 with tax, plus $575 for install

2. My gas milage thread https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=106800
I lost about 2-3 MPG

3.yes its worth it.

thank god i live in oregon and dont have sales tax so for me itll be like 3500 after install? so i think imgona buy the tc and just save money out of my cheacks for like 3 or 4 months and just pay chash and not finance it... is that a good idea. kuz it would keep my car payment alot lower irght?

Wheel spin in 1st is horrible. And 2nd is the same thing. 2nd can be controled, but first takes alot of self control to not want to give it to much gas and spin them for a good take off.

I think for lower power applications, a phantom grip would help out alot...

For track application, there is deffinetly tires that will take care of it. And that is where the power matters anyhow. Throw some drag radials on and its good togo. For the street, how many times are you going to have to dump the clutch at a green light and take off in 1st gear to get up to speed? Hopefully the answer is zero, because that is illegal. I said it spins bad in 1st, but thats not a huge problem because street racing is bad anyhow.

The sc is good because the power is there when you need it. And 1st gear isnt usually one of those places where its needed.

BFgoodrich drag radials, Falken Azenis, Nitto NT series, and many more. There are a lot of nice tires that can be used on the street for better traction

Lowering the car with stiffer springs and better shocks will also reduce wheel spin.

the bf goodrich g-Force are great for the money but offer little in wet weather. Go for a Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S. You'll pay for it but you get a really good all weather UHP tire.

Like Nick said, wheelspin is easy in first gear. Sticky tires always help. Repeat after me.....Sticky tires are good. 0-60: 6.3 - 6.8 seconds, 1/4 mile: mid to high 14's.
