Default HKS Hi-Power/alike?

I've checked out the HKS Hi-Power exhaust on my friends car yesterday along with the Injen CAI, i love the sound, not too ricey, not too loud, but its nice.
only problem is that it's kinda big, my car is lowered on tein s-techs and i also have the kaminari bodykit so i dont wanna chance fitting that under my car.

What would be the closest thing to that price range and soundwise that would fit my car(straightback not slanted)

My DC is straight back, well the pipe comes straight out the back, the muffler sits in there sideways.

well not so much the piping
im just talking about the exhaust muffler or the end of the exhaust
i know the HKS is like 5" in diameter and its really really big which wont fit on my car
just wanted to know if there was anyhing smaller but made the same sound

check out the new Megan Racing exhaust. it just came out...and it looks exactly like the HKS only a little smaller. its tilted so im not sure whether youd like that or not. i personally love it, and for 300 bucks you get a cat back..not just an axle back. MR is really doing good with the tC!!! anyways heres a pic:

there you go...remember that this is a new design meant not to burn the bumper like the previous one. also since your saving like 50 bucks opposed to HKS.. if you dont like how it comes out you can always have a shop do it for you.

I was behind my car a few days ago and the my tC was carrying five full sized adults. The car looked like it was on S-techs. If my car had been dropped I think I'd be scraping the exhaust all the way home. I estimated there to be about 700lbs of extra weight including the driver(my dad). S-techs should be fine unless your carrying a heavy load.

no worries bro...you arent going to be lowered 2.4 in the rear, youll only be 2.0...and i have seen peepz with a HKS on stechs, i have seen some even lower and they arent scraping. also, the kanimari allows you to have a HKS right? so even if it doesnt, you can just have a shop custom cut a pipe for you to make it fit so it doesnt scrape and what not.

You should be fine then. Besides even if you do scrape all your doing if going to scratch the thing unless you really bottom out. The rubber hangers acts as shock absorbers. I have the injen CAI & HKS and it sounds awesome.

I dislike the whole "tilted" exhaust trend. I think it looks cheap.

Unfortunately its hard to have one come out straight on our vehicles because the less bends the better. Our exhaust runs pretty much down the middle of the vehicle up until before the rear axle.

Idk,do the smaller mufflers/axleback make the sound more ricey?

The HKS sounded great IMO, but it's extremely BIG!

its that the room behind the axle is very minimal. that is why it is tilted. the megan sounds really nice to me too..however i like the HKS. my friend has a 2.5 straight pipe from the spipe back with two resontors, no cats, Megan Header and s pipe....and it sounds just like an HKS. someone with an HKS thought he had the HKS. so you could always go that route, and choose a tip you like

Yeah, well i also wanna go the cheapest route as well.

I'm probably looking around 600 total for the Exhaust and Injen CAI together.
