Has anyone here gotten a 2.0 60ft time with just an intake? i was asking because i just went to the track last night and managed 3 runs.

my best 60ft was 2.0 and i was stunned, cuz i usually hit 2,2 or, 2,3. and on my last run i followed by a 2,1.. I hit 15.7 just an intake.

Anyone?

thats a good short time , but there r people on here that ive seen run 2.2-2.3 and run 15.4s . with stock setups so maybe ur shifting at the wrong rpm.

That's a nice 60ft. I gotta practice because I can't get anything close too that lol....does everyone just shift right before redline??

2.0 is good for a tc. Best I have gotten was a 2.1 but I am F/I so my qt was a heck of allot faster :)

i get 2.1's and run 15.2's well that was just intake and exhaust i should be able to do better now

but with a 2.0 i would expect a high 14 sec pass your shifting must be way off or something

keep practacing though

and what kind of tires do you have???

i have stock tires on right now stock rims... my best time has been a 15.6 at 89. im shifting fine i think i just gotta get an exhaust or something. but i guess not bad for just an intake huh.

probly your launch with a good launch (you will most likely need better tires for this) you should be able to run a decent amount lower but it will also take practice

the fastest i've ever ran with my stock tc 5 speed was a 15.72 at 87 mph... if you run any faster then that then you gotta have some kind of ____ in your car. i can't stand people who lie and act like there car is faster then it is. sorry but i dont think its possible to have 15.4 second times with a stock tc...

SORRY FOR FLAMING!!! :lalala:

Stock 5 speed, i ran a 15.5, again stock. stop whining, theres alot of things that affect your time. ie: temp, 60 ft times, shifting, what rpms you shift at, where you live. your not the best driver, nor am I, But it can be done.

i ran 15.6 stock so it is possible. like whocares said. a lot of variables come into play and also the driver.

Any of you that are cutting close to 2.0 short times are doing well imo. My best with my GTO is 2.02 13.2x @ 108. I know Im not the best driver, but I have more than 2x the horses than a stock tC so Im impressed!! We all need to keep practicing!

9.8 @ 71.9x

I'll confirm it when I get back home... been on a ski trip all week. The video of me running it is in my sig, the time is a link. I'm in the left (far) lane.

did you lower your tire pressure at all for this run?
