Hello everyone, I am gettin my Scion tC in about a week and a half. I need to find out where I can go in the area to get an Eclipse HU, most likely a 5495, and I'd like to know where I can have it installed. I know that the Eclipse 2454 will still work with the audio controls on the steering wheel, so is it safe for me to assume that it will still work with the 5495? Anyway, info as to where I can get that in the area would be great.

hey man i was once in the same shoes as you and i almost bought the head unit u want except i didnt have quite enough money but ne ways i spent over a year going from car shop to car shop getting quotes and information and i did research on almost all the commonly known brands and the best shop i came up with with the best price in the North of Atlanta are "Roswell Marrietta, Kennasaw ,Woodstock , Canton etc. was Area 41 up off of 41 by Cowboys/ Macolum Airfield. Ruffly about 1.25 mile up 41 past Barret Pkwy if imm not mistaken. But their main focus on equipment is Eclipse, Alpine, Diamond, Memphis and Pioneer and their quick and they back up their installs and theyve been around for awhile

Thanks guys, you guys are fantastic help. I really appreciate it. I'll do my best to be there on the 5th. Oh and I'm sorry if I hadn't given details yet about the tC. It's a Black Cherry Pearl 5 speed. Ummm as far as options, I opted for the self dimming mirror, pedestal spoiler, fog lights, the security package, and the Borla catback exhaust.

Just a little fyi Circuit City is planning on carrying Eclipse products starting this month (march)

yea, but eclipse's quality has dropped alot. Boo!

roswell area huh... you saw my headunit at the Varsity, I got it installed at a friend of mines shop... its called "audio trix" good guys there pm me and I can get you the phone number...(in class right now)... he did good work and gave me a great price. his shop is located right near lassiter highschool.
