What color did you order your xB in?

I ordered a silver one, of course!

I would say blue is the best. Problem is, I haven't seen it on the xB yet. My scion magazine only has the xA in a blue color, and it may not be the same one. :cry:

i heard that the blue is going to be the same as the blue that you can get the lexus is300 in. if not exactly, REALLY close.

Considering it's all one big family, i'm sure it's identical. I'm still planning on Blue Onyx.

i like all the colors, actually. i'd like to see bright red, and brown. and maybe yellow.

My choice for a color is Black Sand Pearl with Grey Dot Graphics...because that is the color of my Beauty!

haha. i know how it is spending money. i already have $3700 invested in my car. and that's not counting anything i got from the dealer, like the car and the floormats (my only accessory). :) my wheels and stereo cost most of the money.

well bad news about getting Magna Flow Exhaust today....my Scion Dealer up here in Sac. TOLD me not to install any aftermarket exhaust until my warranty is over (36mo./36,000mi) so I'm gonna wait until the TRD Pro Stainless Steel Exhaust comes out along with the 'High Performance Clutch' and 'Sport Shifter Kit'....

that blows...so either the TRD exhaust or find a loop-hole in the warranty...and go through with like Greddy Exhaust or something....lol

according to the federal consumer protetion law, you can add any option to your car w/o voiding the warranty...
(so you can buy a Fram oil filter w/o voiding the warranty)
but a HKS exhaust may effect yur factory warranty...
anythign directly related to that product will not be covered.
and it it up to the dealer/factory to show proof it was the aftermarket products fault...
now warranties are normally handled on a per dealership basis, so each individule dealership may be different, btu the law is on your side...tha peticular dealership may just not be the place you'll have to take it to.

Well....it doesn't matter that much, besides I also took into consideration the loudness of my car with aftermarket exhaust....as is stock, it sounds exactly like an Integra GSR V-TEC....lol....but a little bit louder....and I can only imagine what it would sound like with a Greddy Cat-Back....My car is already being targeted by local police due to its indescribable looks, and with louder exhaust, it would be even worse....not to mention me being 17 wouldn't make my matters any better with CHP/ local police....lol

i would do it because it would be different. there are going to be so many scions out on the road that i would have to do something to make mine different.
The color would probably be green, orange or yellow.

it's cool to be different. i think bright red might be a cool color to paint it, since there isn't anything close to that color right now.

or mercedes electric green. :)

red and yellow will probably look the best on a scion and it will get it stand out.

cops in my area are a BIOTCH! My xB already stands out as it is....being black and all.....I mean, what a calling for all cops if you get it painted to red or yellow!

just because it stands out doesn't mean cops will bother you. you will only get bothered by the cops if you are speeding or doing anything else that is illegal.

Actually it makes you more 'prone' to getting pulled over....

bright colors attract cops, and they especially look, and have their attention on you!

i'm still a Thundercloud fan though...for my personal taste.

i know white seems like a boring color, but it actually looks pretty cool in person.
even at night it looks good. black, camo, cherry red and dark blue look very hidden at night and i think that the thundercloud and white show up the best after hours.

but the other colors are all really cool, though.

i think white is a great color since you have many options for accents.

i like the Polar white myself....it tends to look clean even when dusty, unlike darker colors....

i waited two months for a thundercloud, and when i couldn't get it, I "settled for" camo....now I'm so happy I got the camoflage! It's the best color by far! I'm getting some bronze rims, gonnal be tizight!

I think that the white $ silver are the best colors just cuz they're so eazy to take care of. I have a black cherry pearl, and it is a biotch to take care of, you can see every little scratch and peice of dirt & dust. Oh well, i learned my lesson, next car i buy will be white :wink:

polar white!

I have a Polar White one but did anybody see the Gray color , I kinda like that one better. But im Happy for what i have.

hah! i remember voting thundercloud like forever ago on this post. But i happily own a polar white xB nowadays. After seeing all the colors in person(i took a trip the very lame very unhelpful POWER scion in buena park) white was really the only color for me followed by camoflage. which is cool as well (esp with bronze wheels). white just suits the car so well it makes it look a bit bigger and the lines look so crisp. Maybee a bronze metallic (yes bronze) or a dove grey (see audi TT) could woo me from polar white love.
In vegas the dust is white and when the wind blows dark cars looks go straight to hell. I used to be a porter at the lexus store and it would easily take 5 times the amount of effort to final prep (like final wash/dust whatever to make the car look perfect when someone was purchasing it) so from then on i commited myself to never buying a black car. Yes black onyx is sweeet but not here not for me.

I like white from the visibility, and summer coolness standpoints.

However, having picked up my first paint chip I'm not happy that Toyota molded the plastic bits out of dark colored material. The contrast is such that dings show up quite vividly. Ah, planned obsolescence...

Every day i get at least 2 people asking me about my debadged xB.

I think the white looks cleaner and more luxurious and yes it is ALOT easier to keep clean.

I my first car 14 years ago was a midnight blue. I loved the color but HATED keeping it clean from dust. a few months later all i can see were swirls. Yes i ALWAYS inspect my paint with the sun's reflection.
I then vowed only to buy white cars.
My xB is the 3rd white car and I never been happier.

I heard this rom someone along time ago: All non-white cars lose their color pigment over the years. I believe this is true if the car is left in the sun too long daily

I concur....I had a dark red volvo as my first car...bee atch to keep clean...from then on out, it has been white volvo, then white scion.

yeah, that orange is pretty cool! my first truck was a Datsun 1600 and it was orange too! engine was 90hp! heh he

yeah see there is some sort of complex that the thundercloud owners have. its just a lame camry color that doesn't look any different if you wash it. ever notice the highest number of cars in the scionlife registry is thundercloud? And yet none of the really cool modded cars on the board are thundercloud? coincidence?

Camo. I went in wanting a black one( man. trans.). All they had was one black auto.
In the showroom was a camo (auto) with about $3200 in extras.

I had no idea this green would look that good. I would've taken it right there if the trans was man. I ended up with TCM, I like the color and it hides dirt well but my other car is a silver.

Good choice w/ the Thunder Metallic. Every once and a while I find myself envying them white onez.
