Default Suspension weird after wheel rotation?

I rotated my wheels the other day and after the wheels were back on the car and torqued to 76lb ft as per the manual, the suspension felt extremely bouncy. I would go over bumps and the car would just about come off the ground.

I Jacked the car back up and reinstalled the wheels and it was ok.

a couple days later I installed new wheels. same problem. and same fix.

could it be that the suspension needed to settle back??? It was pretty cold out 35-40 but I dont think that would have done anything.

I have the TRD shocks and springs.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
- Dante

i have the exact same problem right now, except my wheels have not been removed. all i had was my tranny flushed so my car was up in the air.

the car realyl does lose traction at the drop of a hat.

Check your tire pressure - if you rotated the tires, make sure the fronts and rears are set to the correct pressure.

oh i did. i deflated them, and it made no real difference. but i think its just the fact that the suspension got unsettled. because its been 2 days now, and magically its working again. and now i recall when i installed them, i was like wtf is wrong with this. its so crappy. and then i forgot about it. and now i realize, because it settled.

so what im gonna do today, is put the car on jackstands and compress the suspension one wheel at a time with my jack, and leave it compressed for a minute, and see what happens once i do it to all wheels.

hopefully this'll end settlement issues.

So how are you going to keep the suspension compressed and set the car back down? Just drive it for a couple days and let the springs resettle back in there. Just sounds like your springs shifted alittle while in the air. Not a big issue at all.

well it didnt work anyway... but i set the front of the car on jackstands and used the jack on the front wheel for a bit, and then dropped it. but i didnt want to do it that long, as the pressure in the tire was a bit low, and i could see it bulging quite a bit. :[

to be honest it has to have something to do with cold weather. i really dont know, but im thinking that.
