Default I've Asked This Before To No Avail.

I will be buying the JDM foglights real soon and my question, that wasn't answered before is: Can I use the US, non-lit, foglight switch with the JDM fogs, WITH NO MODIFICATIONS and can I also use the JDM relay in my xB, WITH NO MODIFICATIONS? Basically, I don't want to have to cut any wiring harness to install the parts mentioned, I wanna plug-n-play...

You have to buy a US switch if you want NO MODIFICATIONS, but otherwise you are hosed. See my writeup in the tech section it will explain why you cant use the switch with our harness.

I think awhile back someone posted the part number for the US style switch so you may want to ask scion for it.

Honestly though, the JDM switch is so much cooler, its JDM!@#$

I agree with you on this one but I work for a dealership(Nissan) and nothing irks me more then someone "hacking" into a factory wiring harness. It's something I don't like to do...

I know its more than most people would want to deal with, but honestly I've had my sidemarkers rewired and the fog switch wired with 0 problems for over a year now I think. I see more torched harnesses from crappy headlight bulbs than people who have had problems from rewiring switches and stuff. Besides its not like I went splicing into the ECU plugs, we're talking about a plug for a switch that a large portion of people would never use in the first place lol.
