Default question about the avn5435

alright i just got mine installed not to long ago. its dope but the only problem is that my door wont close. is there a way for this to be fixed? i asked the store who installed it, they evn said theydont think it can be done.........i think thats some bull man and can be done . i have a nice unit and my door wont close!!

just drill holes in the stock brackets where you see dimples in it. that will mount it farther back and allow the door to close

Theres a way... I got the same unit in mine... and mine closes.. I actually cut into the factory brackets to where I could adjust where the unit sits... And got the side brackets for oversized toyota radios.. ' best kit' part no. BKTA1465B Again, had to do some adjusting, but got it done.. Let me know if you need any other help..
