What kind of tint is used? A basic dye type, or metalic? I've been thinking about doing my driver/passenger window in a shade similar to the oem tint in the rear, then going darker for the rears. Any idea on what that would run? $$

fremont.... Rosetti. :gun:

exactly. my friend works for the PD. he went on a ride along with him 2 weeks ago. he pulled over THREE people for tinted fronts. he didn't give them fix it tickets though. no he just made them pull it off right then and there before they could drive off!

How much for 5% all around on an Xb?

mammoth
02-28-2006, 11:23 PM
I can personally vouch for Jim's tinting, he did my xb 20% back and 35% front almost a year
ago and it still looks perfect today. Can't beat his warranty or his skill!
Sounds like a great idea, I'm going to let my friends know. Could you pm me a price for a GM pickup w/ 3 windows.

did that one tC get its windshield tinted too? i never watched anyone tint a window so i was wondering what was he drying on the outside? i thought tints were on put on the inside

SquallLHeart
03-05-2006, 08:24 PM
no.. he was using my front windshied as a table..

he was using the outside as a template to cut out the tint and put any curves in it with a heat gun prior to applying it on the inside...

hope that answers your question.
