meeting for the show? how are we all gonna get there if we dont have our cars? i thought that we all agreed on showing up at the car wash and taking our cars in that friday....

i would imagine the best way of doing saturday is to meet at mccormick place since people will have to find alternate ways of getting there. im takin the south shore probably, it stops at McP. on weekends.

CRiMiNal and rolstc this is for the meet on Friday to head to the show. I may be wrong but I believe we can bring the cars around 5pm to mccormick. As for saturday, I might be able to borrow the rents van to drive a few of us to the show.

u just need to register. u'll get a pass for u and a ticket for a guest plus free parkin, and hang out us. what could be better

ok rookie, I believe you have already registered. then you need to decide how ou are going to get your car cleaned on the 24th. then from there you need to decide where you are going ot meet us at?
But the bottom line is that the HIN paperwork we recieve says that if we do not drive in together, we will not be staged together regardless of the club name. so you will have to at least meet us at dominicks.

i dont think anyone is stayin at a hotel.
however, u and the gf (i believe gf) are more than welcome to stay at my house, or crib for the ebonic folk. i live about an hr away, but u'll also have a ride from and to the show.
i have 1 bedroom still available, as my friend and a few models for the show should be here too. as for directions, ill work on that for tomorrow but u have my number also in case u need to use it. basically u r taking 55 til it ends then going north a bit.

well, i would say we can all meet up and roll in together if we are patient.

roll in is from 3 til 8pm. most have taken off the entire day, some havent.

personally, i'm in training right now and will be shifting to a new department the week of HIN. it's pretty bad that i'm gonna be requesting a day off that i might have to work (saturday), but it'd take big balls and a bit of delirium to think i could also ask for friday off. however, i know i can be off by 3, in more than enough time to be at the meet point before the 8pm end time for roll in. thats why i thought we went with a 4-4:30 meet time originally.

so i'm gonna state right now, i doubt i'll be there b4 4pm. freebies are all well and good, but if we want to ensure we roll in together, i think the departure time to head to mccormick place shouldnt be b4 5pm. if we cant make it 2 miles in 3 hours something aint right.

again this would only work if we want to go in as one BIG group.....

this is why we need everyone to post on the sticky, so we know who will be at the show, and who we have to wait for. the week b4 the show i will ask for everyones phone number that way if someone is running late, we can call to get info.
we will not go into the show until we have everyone (unless its almost 8). but PLEASE do not be late and screw everyone else. we want this to be a good time and this hopefully will be the start of a good show year and build some team unity.

the marshaling is where we need to go after dominicks. that's where the intial roll in takes place but u have the time and space to hang out and see cars outside while getting ready and waiting for last minute folks

We'll probably meet up with those going to the Hinsdale Oasis what time will those of you going there, be there at?

I am planning on getting to the Dominicks around 1:30... So I would say we would meet up at the oasis around 12:30? and roll out at about 1?

He backed out since we had the tornado here last sunday, its been a mess. We were without power for 18 hours, but he was without it for 8days and had more damage than us. I can't beluieve that I am still going, but I wouldn't miss this show for the world. Too bad he droped out, because its the sweetest tc in my area.

what time will you be there? we are planning on noon or so

ray- i am going to meet jason-05xb- and come down there early too. I pick up my car at 1130 and hes going to get his washed then. we will probably stop by portillos before we head down there for show good eats and then be down there around 1230-1pm. I also sent my cell number to everyone on the roll call list so they will call me if they are lost or late.

im planning on being there at 1230
so lets get there and save some spots!

everyone else is planning on getting there like at 2-4

ill be there 1/1:30 if i dont get lost but ive got ray and seans cell so that will help as far as i know i just take 290 strait to canal st or somthing like that ill find it if not my sis lives on the south side she knows chi real well
