I do all of my own work. I do have alot of resources to utilize, but I find it difficult to pay someone 60 + dollars an hour to do the same work I can do. Hell, if I could make my own gasoline I would do that too. 2.10 a gal here now.

i do all my own work.

don't like others touching my stuff. they might break something and try to cover it up.
if i break it, i know about it and can fix it. i feel mor at ease knowing exactly what is right or wrong with my car and what has been done to it.

It all depends. I pretty much will do anything that doesn't involve putting a car up on a lift. I tend not to f around with electrical stuff though.

Have done everything myself with a help of a few friends.

You learn more about your vehicle if you do it yourself, and save money too.

If i ever had a question about an install, Scionlife.com was just a few clicks away to help with answers.

It all depends on what the mod is and how much time I have at the moment.

this is basically how i define a true Modder!, much respect for you'all. just like myself, i tried to do my own mod, if its beyond tools, and my hands capability.

my 2nd true modder would be those that has mad ideas, ex. wing brake light mod, yes he was helped by a shop, but its the idea and searching that counts.

but to those that had put thier cathode lights, led, fog lights by someone else, well you have $$ to spend(sit & wait) then walla!!!!

I do my own installs and fabrications with the exception of TRD parts that I think that I want to have a warranty on (supercharger, internal engine components, etc)...

I do everything myself. That way if something breaks down the road I know how to remove it, reinstall the stock piece and take into the dealership for warrenty repair!
