View Full Version : scion vol. 7 xb supercharger!?!?!?!?!?! nightwishkid 02-28-2006, 12:25 PM in vol. 7 it says trd doesnt make a supercharger for the xb........ :nails: OMG now i gota go with greddy or blitz ....... which one is better? PoBoyxB 02-28-2006, 03:07 PM there is also the Power Enterprise SC. thats the one im looking at... nightwishkid 02-28-2006, 06:28 PM is their anything diff. about that1 than the others like easyer instaltion or more/less gains is it cheaper???? :eyes: ProshopXB 02-28-2006, 10:25 PM The Greddy is from what they state a complete bolt on system, nothing extra needed. The PE i beleive needs an upgraded fuel pump and regulator and needs a fuel return line. As for the Blitz im not sure if anything extra is needed. Do a search i think people have bought and installed all three of these SC's , so get their feedback also. tyrantcold 02-28-2006, 10:32 PM does anyone know how the greddy affects driveability or emission and or if it works on a automatic ? Spiderbox 02-28-2006, 10:36 PM anybody have a dyno with asupercharged xb? MattyRattyPoo 03-01-2006, 06:15 AM does anyone know how the greddy affects driveability or emission and or if it works on a automatic ? It isnt carb legal and yes it works on an automatic. As for dirveability, the car is like night and day with the super charger. Its such a big difference. nightwishkid 03-01-2006, 12:07 PM Power Enterprise Supercharger Kit for 2004+ Scion Xb 150ps @ full boost of 0.5kpa First high efficiency centrifugal supercharger successfully built in Japan! ProshopXB 03-01-2006, 09:20 PM I second Greddy. p2filz 03-01-2006, 09:29 PM they never said that they would make a SC for the xb through TRD though M-Flo 03-01-2006, 09:43 PM +1 for Greddy. They are the only ones who have the piggyback ECU down. Too bad it doesn't fit the xA ;_; hotbox05 03-01-2006, 09:54 PM they never said that they would make a SC for the xb through TRD though trd has said they've toyed with the ideo of xb turbo. but no fruits have come from the ideas. PoBoyxB 03-01-2006, 10:17 PM i second PE tyrantcold 03-01-2006, 10:27 PM there is a TRD japan version of a super/turbocharged XB but I havent been able to fine any for sale here or import hotbox05 03-01-2006, 10:30 PM there is a trd japan turbo but they use another ecu so... that and it's for auto trans..not that that particularly matters. nightwishkid 03-02-2006, 02:53 AM greddy gives more boost but blitz jus looks better......... PE is about 3.2 lbs. of boost (conversion website) so greddy is the best and when i got my box in sept. they had a supercharger for it i believe....... cause i asked how much the sub. is and he gave me a price for a supercharger. i dono its prob. not much of a boost as greddy. now all we need is a walk through of how to set up a greddy s/c on a box with pix. i dono what happened to dyno i searched the net and couldnt find it not on ebay either. so now is a 4-1 or a 4-2-1 headers better. simplyred 03-05-2006, 04:10 AM fyi.... greddy just came out with a bolt on turbo kit and an add on fmic for the xB. id just like to see it on the xA. Rocket 03-05-2006, 12:40 PM I have the Greedy, and am very happy. I installed it at home on a Sunday afternoon, Easy to install, works well and no problems. Xbilly 03-05-2006, 10:50 PM wish I got greddy, i'm stuck witht this blitz kit, which I still have yet to install. >:| eight08customs 03-06-2006, 04:00 AM I have the Greddy i have ad no problems with it and the best thing is that it come with the Emanaged Pre programmed.. took me 3 hours to install. I have yet to Dyno it! But the power is there! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v649/eight08customs/Greddy%20Install/CIMG3198.jpg simplyred 03-06-2006, 09:48 PM fyi.... greddy just came out with a bolt on turbo kit and an add on fmic for the xB. id just like to see it on the xA. maybe i was not very clear..... greddy has also released a bolt on turbo kit in addition to the supercharger that was just released. this will open up more possibilities and boost options with a few electronics or just a freakin switch. oh and it is not on of the crummy xs kits. nightwishkid 03-07-2006, 03:34 AM resale on ur car is better if you have a sc than a turbo and it will kill ur engine faster if u dont pump more money into it. so in my opion if u jus wana have fun a supercharger is better if u relly wana race get a turbo. cz3ch 04-17-2006, 06:24 AM +1 for Greddy. They are the only ones who have the piggyback ECU down. Too bad it doesn't fit the xA ;_; And one that actually "plug and plays" properly with the ECU SNR 04-17-2006, 08:40 PM +1 for Greddy. I changed my alt belt once already..... cant seem to find the SC belt though in Hawaii.. Order them online, and get multiples.. I'd rather change out a 20-30$ belt then a 2500$ supercharger lol or engine parts |
