My dealer offers the TRD Muffler for 390 installed. They also offer the Cold Air Induction by AEM for 361.60 installed. I am not sure which one to go for. I am leaning towards getting the CAi by AEM then later on down the road when money is around, I will add the muffler.. I like the look of the muffler, but I may enjoy the booost that the CAI offers... What do u think? :?

Definitely the intake first.
I'd get an aftermarket exhaust instead of the TRD unless there's an overwhelming reason to stick with dealer parts (service contract, lease, etc.),

i was thinking the same thing.... anyone know a good intake for the xB? w/o voiding anything? Or sucking in water?
go with the aem!! The TRDs have a bad rep of burning out the gasket and burning you bumper after!!!

I would go with the Cold Air Intake first I just had the AEM CAI installed it is a little pricey compared to some of the other's.But it look's good and appear's to be well engineered and of good quality. As far as the muffler goes I would pass on the TRD setup it is really pricey and quality does not appear to be very good.I would recommend the www.precisionmuffler.com axel back which is made for both the auto and manual transmission Scion Xb.It uses a Magnaflow muffler and sound's really good. But it's your call since it's your vehicle.Good luck and enjoy the box. :) 8)

get some real ____..... screw the aem intake n screw the trd muffler.... u can get some nice stuff in the $380 range.... like the blitz rear section... much nicer. an intake is an intake.... get an intake for $100 on ebay and save $200.... then use the extra $200 towards a nice exhaust like the blitz i mentioned....
unless you are the type to put a AEM body side decal on your car b/c u have an AEM intake.... hehe...

IMO, Save your money, got the Injen Intake and then the Stylis exhaust, you'll save like $200 in the end.
