It's called "the scheduled maintanance guide" on the back cover of that book are 3 coupons for free oil changes vpkb 11-05-2003, 03:52 AM thnx for the info, i'll check bBOXD 11-05-2003, 04:03 AM Every Scion comes with 3 free oil changes. :) WeirdStyles_net 11-07-2003, 07:59 PM My girls Rav4 came with the same deal...which was all good except if it werent for me that oil would still be original.... working at pep boys, oil changes are ALL free and what not... kaz1 11-07-2003, 09:03 PM No, you don't need a coupon to receive your complimentary oil change. Your complimentary oil changes will be tracked in Scion's national database using your vehicle identification number. To obtain your complimentary oil change, call a Scion or Toyota dealership to make an appointment. The dealership will check Scion's national database to verify your vehicle's eligibility. Upon completion of your complimentary oil change, our national database will be updated to reflect the total number redeemed for your vehicle. We also recommend having the dealership complete one of the boxes on the inside back cover of your Scheduled Maintenance Guide, located in your glove compartment. (Please note: The Scheduled Maintenance Guide is for your reference only and will not be used for verification of eligibility). Complimentary oil changes include change of engine oil, oil filter, and drain plug gasket only. You are responsible for the cost of any other services performed at the time of your complimentary oil changes, including other maintenance services listed in the scheduled maintenance log. TheRedBox 11-13-2003, 10:38 PM yeah what he said. ha! In the maintanance book there is a page where there is 3 boxes for them to stamp it when they have done it. They didn't stamp mine so, im going to a different dealership to get another free oil change. =) BoxCrazy 12-10-2003, 10:51 PM When buying my xb I inquired about the 3 free oil changes and the sales guy said he never heard of that?? So how do I go about getting them?? I am going to look thru my paperwork and see if there are coupons in there but I don't think there was??? G-Force 12-10-2003, 10:59 PM there are no coupons to redeem - just read the post 2 posts above yours. boxzila 12-11-2003, 12:05 AM We just recently had our oil changed and the service writer actually told me to make sure to bring in the maintenance log to get my free oil change. In the back of the maintenance book, I believe on the back page is where he stamped the coupon. About a week later I got a letter from Scion asking me to rate the dealership in several areas. Overall it was a good experience at Folsom Lake Toyota here in Sacramento. I did however get 3 comp oil changes from the dealership we purchased from, but after the whole second remote fiasco I will not be returning to get my free oil changes. fearturtle44 12-14-2003, 12:07 AM Can these oil changes be done at a Toyota dealership which does NOT carry Scion? Thanks. Kevin JDMxB 12-14-2003, 12:24 AM Yes, that should be no problem--as Scion itself doesn't have a service bay, they just use the Toyota dealerships. Everyone, check the back of your maintenance manual in the black leather portfolio thing you got when you got your car. THE COUPONS ARE ON THE LAST PAGE OF THE SERVICE MANUAL....THERE ARE 3 OF THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
